LINDA MCRAE (Photo James Doyle)

Linda Is a Canadian-born, Nashville based multi-instrumentalist with 30 years’ experience touring and teaching both nationally and internationally. A singer-songwriter musician of the old school you may think you know what she’s is up to; that is until she throws you a curve with a new twist: David Bowie on Banjo! Linda’s love of Canadian, American and British music resulted in multiple band configurations from roots-rock to punk to folk. These bands included platinum recording group, Spirit of the West. Her deep contribution to the Canadian music scene resulted in her being honoured as a British Columbia Entertainment Hall of Fame “Pioneer” inductee. She has performed in venues as diverse as the Orpheum Theatre with the Vancouver Symphony to New Folsom Prison with the “in house blues band” where she facilitates writing workshops for the inmates.

These experiences lead to the creation of Express Yourself Writing Workshops currently being presented across North America.

KAY MIRACLE

Kay began her singer/ songwriter journey at the knee of her grandfather Claude Wood, who played upright bass with such notable artists as Hank Williams and Doris Day.  Seeing Kay as a “chip off of the old block”, Claude bought her an acoustic guitar. Ready to take on the world, she was selected to tour for 7 years overseas with the Pacific Air Force and USO military tours, entertaining troops stationed in the Far East and other points across the globe. While in Japan, Kay met and joined a Syracuse, NY-based alternative country band “Reckless Drivin” and eventually made her home in central New York. As the band's lead singer, rhythm guitarist and songwriter she took home a total of 5 SAMMY awards honoring Syracuse’s local artists, two of these were awarded to Kay personally as “Best Country Vocalist.” Kay later took 2nd place for her Americana song “8 Ball” in the SAW international songwriter contest in Washington, D.C.

Kay is a Creative facilitator and uses her songwriting to help heal trauma. She is the founder of “Blood to Ink” working with Veterans through songwriting and also assisting teens and seniors with finding their authentic voice by telling their unique story through song. Today, Kay performs both as a solo artist and with Americana trio Miracle Cure.

Penny Jo Pullus

Penny Jo's sound is a musically eclectic and organic ideal, a heady, smoky combination of roots and pop stylings that now define her unique and soulful sound. Hers is a great big voice with a mighty twang that takes a song and makes it real – breathtakingly, unmistakable. As William M. Smith writes in Rockzilla World, “Pullus’s vocal attraction lies in her ability to alternate between hellcat on a tear and the girl next door.”

A former member of 70’s Legends and Texas Music Hall of Fame-ers, The Greezy Wheels, Grammy Award winning “New Bohemians,” and The John Bush Band Penny Jo has been a vox session fave. She has been featured on Austin City Limits and Levon Helm’s Ramble portions of which were featured in the Levon Helm Documentary Ain't In it For My Health.

What is she up to now? In addition to her work supporting women through Texchromosome and through her Texchromosome Women radio show, she has stepped into her own authentic style of writing, playing and singing with Miracle Cure.
